Does it hurt?
Discomfort is minimal! our makeup artist makes sure a high-quality topical numbing cream is applied before and during your procedure to keep you comfortable. Most clients describe the sensation as a light scratching feeling.
Who is not a good candidate for permanent makeup?
Our makeup artist will not work on YOU if you are:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
- Taking blood thinners or certain medications
- Have certain skin conditions near the procedure area
A full health form will be completed before your appointment to confirm eligibility.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, ibuprofen, and blood-thinning medications 24 hours before your appointment. Come with clean skin, no makeup on the treatment area, and avoid heavy exfoliation or sun exposure a few days prior.
Is there downtime?
Yes — minor swelling, redness, and tenderness are normal for 1-3 days. The treated area will go through a light peeling phase. Full healing takes about 4 weeks. You’ll be provided with detailed aftercare instructions to ensure perfect healing.

Lux Beauty Lounge Studio Policies
Welcome to Lux Beauty Lounge — where beauty meets confidence. To ensure the best experience for all of our clients, please review our studio policies before booking your appointment.
01. Booking Policy
A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to secure all appointments. This deposit will be applied toward your total service cost. Remaining balance is due at the time of your appointment. All bookings must be made through our official booking platform.
02. Late Policy
Please arrive on time for your appointment. A 10-minute grace period is provided. Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to reschedule and will forfeit their deposit. This allows us to respect everyone’s scheduled time.
03. Appointment Balance
Remaining balance will be paid the day of the scheduled appointment with either cash or Zelle. Cash is preferred. Due to the nature of our detailed services, the artists’ focus is solely on the design and satisfaction of their customers. Unlike a traditional salon, there is no receptionist or cash register present in the studio to handle transactions.
04. Eligibility Policy
Our makeup artist will not work on YOU if you are:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
- Taking blood thinners or certain medications
- Have certain skin conditions near the procedure area

05. Enhancement touch up Session
Our makeup artist offers your first touch up or perfecting session after your initial treatment is $150. A perfecting touch-up appointment is highly recommended 4-8 weeks after your initial procedure for optimal, long-lasting results. Touch-ups booked after 12 weeks may incur additional fees.The perfecting session is critical for best results. Additional touch-up appointments may be needed for individuals with oily and problematic skin. Additionally, the same policy applies to your touch-up appointment. If you cancel/reschedule last minute, $100 inconvenience fee will apply to schedule another appointment and the same goes with no call or no shows.
Please be respectful and don’t be late to your follow-up appointment.
* Please Note: Touch Up for eyebrows that were initially done with someone else is still considered a new client and will pay the “New Client Rate”*.
This is considered a corrective work and not a touch-up because our makeup artist doesn’t know what pigment was used from your previous makeup artist, and it is more difficult to correct the symmetry of your brows due to the fact that we have to respect what’s already there. Every artist is different and has their own style of work so it is very important to understand and keep it mind that when you’re shopping around for an artist, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE shop by their portfolio and love the quality of our make artist work that they provide and not by their rate.
